120 mm reverse-orientation ARGB case fan

The ASUS Prime MR120 ARGB Reverse is a 120 mm case fan with a 28 mm thick frame and 20 addressable RGB LEDs. Its reverse blade orientation pushes air in the opposite direction to standard fans, making it suitable for radiator pull configurations or specialised airflow paths. Aura Sync compatibility allows lighting coordination with supported motherboards and components.

PWM control and standard mounting

PWM control adjusts the fan speed up to 1600 RPM while keeping noise as low as 23 dB(A). The fan uses a conventional 4-pin PWM connector for speed control and a standard 3-pin 5 V addressable RGB header for lighting. Installation follows normal 120 mm screw patterns, but the thicker 28 mm frame requires checking clearance against adjacent components, cables or radiator end tanks.

Clearance and header checks before ordering

Verify that your case or radiator mounting holes accommodate a 28 mm frame depth without fouling side panels, memory modules or VRM heatsinks. Confirm the motherboard provides a 5 V 3-pin ARGB header and a 4-pin PWM fan header; older 4-pin 12 V RGB headers are not compatible. Ensure the reverse airflow direction matches the intended push or pull role in your cooling loop.
