EATX aluminium X-frame chassis

The ASUS ROG GR701 RO Ji Custom is a full-tower case built around an aluminium alloy X-shaped frame finished in red. It accepts EATX boards up to 12 by 10.9 inches as well as ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. Two tempered-glass panels show the interior from both sides. The case weighs 20.8 kg and measures 268 by 639 by 659 mm.

Motherboard room and drive layout

Nine horizontal expansion slots plus three vertical slots give flexibility for long graphics cards up to 460 mm. Five dedicated 2.5-inch bays and two 2.5/3.5 combo bays handle storage. Front I/O supplies one headphone/microphone jack, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and a lighting control button. A reset button offers either USB 4.0 Type-C or USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C. Cable-routing space behind the tray is 34 mm.

Sustained airflow with pre-installed 140 mm fans

Three 140 mm PWM fans come fitted at the front and one at the rear. The front and top each support radiators up to 420 mm, the rear up to 140 mm. Air coolers up to 190 mm tall fit under the top panel. Removable dust filters cover front, top and bottom intakes. The power-supply bay accommodates units up to 240 mm long.
