Water block for Intel and AMD sockets

The ASUS ROG RYUJIN III WB is a CPU water block built around an Asetek cold plate with 178 micro-cooling fins and a copper alloy base. It mounts on Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155 and 1156 as well as AMD Socket AM4 and AM5. A 3.5 inch full colour LCD running at 60 FPS sits on top for system monitoring or custom graphics. An embedded axial-tech fan pushes 21.08 CFM across the motherboard VRM heatsinks. The block measures 89 x 89 x 101 mm and comes in black with bundled copper ROG fittings and a cable organiser.

Upgrading from a standard CPU block

This unit replaces a basic water block that lacks an integrated display and active VRM airflow. The jump is worth it when you want real-time hardware stats or animated artwork directly on the block without adding a separate screen. The embedded fan can lower VRM temperatures by up to 35 °C, which helps stability on boards with compact power delivery. Builders staying on a current socket who only need raw heat transfer from the die may not need the extra features.

Fitting into a custom loop

The block accepts the included all-copper ROG fittings for standard hard-tube or soft-tube routing and adds minimal restriction thanks to the micro-fin design. Its 89 mm square footprint clears most socket keep-out zones, while the 101 mm height leaves room for tall memory modules. The LCD and VRM fan draw power from a dedicated header, so a free USB or fan connector on the motherboard is required. The package supplies a ROG cable organiser to keep the extra wiring tidy inside the case.
