The ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 V2 OC Edition is built for gamers who want reliable 1440p performance with ray tracing headroom. It uses the NVIDIA Ampere architecture with 5888 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. The card runs at 1845 MHz boost in OC mode and 1815 MHz in Gaming mode. It connects via PCI Express 4.0.
Build quality and connectors
The design uses military-grade capacitors and other TUF components for durability. Axial-tech fans feature a reversed central fan direction to reduce turbulence. Dual ball fan bearings are rated to last up to twice as long as sleeve bearing designs. Outputs include two HDMI 2.1 ports and three DisplayPort 1.4a connectors, supporting up to four monitors at 7680 x 4320 resolution.
Upgrade context
This model replaces earlier non-LHR RTX 3070 cards and adds the lite hash rate limiter for Ethereum mining at an estimated 25 MH/s.
