The Avolusion PRO-G1 delivers 22TB of external capacity in a silver aluminium enclosure. It connects through a USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C port rated at 10Gbps and contains a 7200RPM drive. The unit is aimed at desktop and laptop users who need large-volume backup or media storage without opening their computer.

Plug-and-play setup with hub convenience

Installation requires only the supplied cable; the drive is recognised immediately on Windows and appears after a quick APFS reformat on MacOS. A built-in USB hub lets you attach extra peripherals without using another port on the host. The fan-less design means silent operation, but the aluminium chassis relies on passive cooling so airflow around the drive should not be blocked.

20TB usable space for media libraries and backups

After formatting, roughly 20TB remains available for files, which comfortably holds extensive photo, video and music collections or full system images. Sequential throughput is limited by the mechanical 7200RPM mechanism, so sustained transfers of very large datasets will run at hard-drive speeds rather than the interface maximum.
