Three layers of sound-absorbing foam sit between the switches and PCB, under the PCB, and inside the bottom housing to mute keystroke noise and eliminate echo. High-quality PBT double-shot keycaps with translucent legends complete the quiet typing experience.

USB 2.0 Wired Connection and Hot-Swap Support

The keyboard connects via a USB 2.0 interface and requires no additional software to function out of the box. A detachable palm rest provides ergonomic support during long sessions. The PCB supports hot-swappable 5-pin MX style switches, letting you replace switches without soldering. Per-key ARGB lighting with an arched diffuser, top-edge glow, and side underglow strips are fully configurable through the be quiet! IO Center software.
