850 VA sine-wave UPS for PFC power supplies

The CyberPower CP850PFCLCD is a line-interactive battery backup that delivers a pure sine-wave output compatible with active power-factor-corrected power supplies. It provides 510 watts of continuous power across ten NEMA 5-15R outlets and includes two USB charge ports for mobile devices. The unit connects to a 120 VAC wall socket via a five-foot NEMA 5-15P cord and operates within an input range of 88 to 144 VAC at 57 to 63 Hz.

Automatic voltage regulation and audible alarms

The line-interactive topology uses automatic voltage regulation to correct brownouts and overvoltages without switching to battery, preserving runtime for genuine outages. Audible alarms signal battery mode, low battery, overload and fault conditions so users can respond before equipment shuts down. Output voltage is maintained at 120 VAC ±5% and frequency at 60 Hz ±1% during battery operation.

LCD monitoring and PowerPanel software control

A multifunction LCD panel displays real-time status including load level, battery capacity, input and output voltage, and estimated runtime. HID USB and serial ports enable communication with the included PowerPanel Personal Edition software for automated shutdown, scheduled self-tests and event logging. The sealed lead-acid battery is user-replaceable using part RB1280A or RB1290 depending on serial-number prefix, and recharges in eight hours.
