The drive suits administrators who need high-capacity bulk storage in a compatible chassis. It is not for systems that lack a 12Gbps SAS backplane or 3.5 inch drive bays.

The 7200RPM spindle speed delivers consistent sequential throughput for streaming reads and writes across the full 4000GB capacity.
