The Dell EMC PowerStore 5200T is an all-flash storage system built on an end-to-end NVMe design that spans media, expansion and networking. It targets organisations that require high IOPS and sub-millisecond latency for demanding workloads. The platform supports plug-and-play cluster expansion up to 18 PBe, allowing capacity to grow without disruption. It is suited for environments prioritising consistent performance and simplified scaling.
The system is engineered to be 60% more power efficient than prior designs, helping reduce operational energy costs in the data centre. Energy Star certification confirms it meets recognised efficiency standards for continuous operation. Thermal management is handled by the integrated chassis design to maintain stable performance under sustained loads. Noise output is managed within typical rack-mount server expectations for the form factor.
A rack-mount chassis provides the structural foundation for deployment in standard server cabinets. The end-to-end NVMe architecture extends to expansion and network links, ensuring the full I/O path avoids legacy bottlenecks.
