The DELL Latitude 5440 is a 14.0 inch Windows 11 Pro notebook built around a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 128 GB NVMe solid-state drive. The Full HD touchscreen panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution with anti-glare coating and 250 nits brightness for office and mobile professionals.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 10-core hybrid architecture combines two performance cores reaching 4.6 GHz with eight efficient cores at 3.4 GHz, allowing background tasks to run on efficient cores while foreground applications use performance cores. Integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics share system memory, so extended 3D or video workloads will be limited by the 8 GB DDR4 capacity and thermal envelope of the slim chassis.

Build, connectivity and daily use

The grey chassis measures 321.4 mm wide, 212 mm deep and 19.1 mm high at the rear, weighing 1.39 kg. Ports include one HDMI 2.0, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (one with PowerShare), RJ-45 Ethernet, and a universal audio jack. Wireless connectivity uses Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. A 65 W AC adapter is included.
