Suited for storage-heavy tasks, not GPU density

The eight 3.5-inch hot-plug bays and support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 make this chassis a fit for databases, backup targets, or virtualisation hosts that rely on spinning SAS media. The single-socket configuration leaves one CPU socket empty, so buyers who need two processors populated from the factory should evaluate other platforms. GPU-accelerated workloads are also a mismatch because the PCIe mix provides three 3.0 slots and two 2.0 slots without dedicated GPU power.

8 GB DDR4 memory ceiling as shipped

The system arrives with only 8 GB of DDR4 installed across twelve DIMM slots, and the supplier-specification lists a maximum installed capacity of 8 GB for this configuration. Any workload that requires more memory will need additional modules purchased and fitted separately.
