Dual Xeon Silver 4114 10-core processors run at 2.2GHz with 3.0GHz turbo. 128GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory supports virtualization, database and software-defined storage tasks. Twelve 8TB 7.2K SATA drives provide high-capacity storage.

Check rack space and controller compatibility

This 2U form factor requires a standard rack with sufficient depth and airflow. The PERC H730P controller manages SAS and SATA drives with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. Verify that your network infrastructure can use the dual integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports. iDRAC 9 Express enables remote management over a dedicated connection.

Redundant power and tool-less rails implied

Two 750W platinum power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. The storage controller includes a battery to protect cached data during unexpected outages. Twelve 3.5-inch drive bays allow hot-swap access to the enterprise SATA drives without tools. Front bezel and ready rails are not included, so plan for separate mounting hardware.
