Two Intel Xeon Silver 4310 processors provide 24 cores at 2.1 GHz with 3.3 GHz turbo for dense compute workloads. 768 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 24 slots supports large virtual-machine counts and in-memory databases. Ten 960 GB SATA SSDs on a PERC H755 controller deliver redundant storage in a space-saving chassis.

SATA SSD throughput and RAID limits

The ten 960 GB drives connect through a 6 Gb/s SATA interface, so sustained sequential throughput is bounded by that link speed. The PERC H755 handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 with 8 GB NV cache and a battery backup, but write performance will reflect the SATA SSD capabilities rather than faster NVMe media. PCIe Gen4 lanes are present in the platform, yet the installed drives do not utilise them. Network connectivity uses a dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 adapter for rack-level aggregation.

Verify rack depth, power cords

Confirm the 1U enclosure depth matches your rack rails and that the supplied sliding rails suit the cabinet. Two 1400 W platinum hot-swap power supplies require compatible PDU outlets and cords for redundant operation. The iDRAC9 Enterprise licence is included, but check that your management network can reach the dedicated port. Ensure the operating system or hypervisor supports the H755 RAID controller and the Broadcom 57412 network adapter before deployment.
