This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4114 processors running at 2.2GHz and 64GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. The chassis supports up to eight 3.5-inch SATA drive bays and includes a PERC H730P RAID controller for array management. Remote administration is handled by iDRAC9 with an Enterprise licence. The unit is new and fully tested with current firmware.

Eight 3.5-inch drive bays define storage capacity

The R740 8LFF chassis provides exactly eight large-form-factor bays connected through the onboard SATA interface and the PERC H730P controller. No drives are installed, so buyers must supply their own SATA hard drives or SSDs to create the required RAID volumes. Maximum memory capacity reaches 3TB across the available DIMM slots when future expansion is needed.

Dual 750W supplies and 10GbE adapter included

Two 750W power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation. A dual-port 10GbE 562T network adapter is factory installed, providing high-throughput connectivity without occupying a PCIe slot. Rail kits are available on request for rack mounting. Integrated graphics handle console output without a discrete GPU.
