PCIe Gen 3 and 10 GbE networking limits

Up to eight PCIe Gen 3 slots provide expansion room for additional controllers or accelerators. The integrated Intel X550 network daughter card delivers two 10 Gb RJ45 ports and two 1 Gb RJ45 ports. Workloads that demand sustained throughput above 10 GbE or require PCIe Gen 4 bandwidth will hit the interface ceiling of this platform.

Tool-less rails and iDRAC9 simplify deployment

The server ships with sliding rails and a bezel, allowing one-person rack mounting in standard cabinets. iDRAC9 Enterprise gives full out-of-band control over power, firmware and console access before the operating system loads.
