The Dell PowerEdge R740xd2 is a 2U rack server built for high-capacity storage deployments. It ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6154 processors running at 3.0 GHz with 18 cores each and 256 GB of DDR4-2666 ECC registered memory. The Dell PERC H730P controller provides 2 GB cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.
