Server configuration

The Dell PowerEdge R750 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Silver 4310 processors. Each CPU provides 12 cores at 2.1 GHz with a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 256 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across eight 32 GB modules. It is built for virtualization, databases and other compute-heavy enterprise workloads.

Storage and RAID limits

Twenty-four 2.5-inch drive bays are populated with 960 GB SATA SSDs connected through a PERC H755 controller with 8 GB NV cache. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The SATA 6 Gb/s interface caps sequential throughput per drive. PCIe Gen 4 slots are available for adding NVMe or SAS devices if higher IOPS are required.
