The Dell PowerEdge R760 is a 2U rack server built for dense compute environments. Two Intel Xeon Gold 6430 processors provide 32 cores running at 2.1GHz with a 3.4GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 32GB of DDR5-4800 ECC registered memory across 32 available slots. It targets virtualization, database and cloud workloads that demand high core counts in a compact form factor.

Sustained compute with H965i RAID

Under continuous load the dual Xeon configuration maintains throughput for multi-threaded applications such as hypervisor hosts and analytics clusters. The PERC H965i controller with 8GB NV cache accelerates RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across SAS, SATA and NVMe drives. Sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays and PCIe Gen5 slots allow storage and accelerator expansion without downtime. The OCP 3.0 quad-port 1GbE adapter keeps network streams steady during prolonged traffic.

Redundant platinum power and remote management

Dual 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant hot-swap power for uninterrupted operation. Integrated iDRAC9 Datacenter provides out-of-band monitoring, firmware updates and remote console access over a dedicated interface. Front bezel and ready rails are included for standard rack installation. The 2U chassis balances airflow and density for typical datacenter thermal envelopes.
