The Dell PowerEdge R930 is a 4U rack server populated with four Intel Xeon E7-8890 v4 processors. Each CPU runs at 2.2 GHz with 24 cores and reaches 3.4 GHz turbo. H730P controller and quad-port networking

Four drive bays are occupied by the supplied SAS disks, while the chassis supports up to 24 hot-plug SAS or SATA drives plus eight front NVMe devices for I/O-intensive tiers. Buyers needing more than four processors or a different memory generation cannot use this platform.
