The Dell PowerEdge T340 tower server is built for small businesses and home offices that need an on-premise system with Windows Server 2019 pre-installed. An Intel Xeon E-2124 quad-core processor running at 3.3 GHz with turbo up to 4.3 GHz provides the compute base. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory at 2666 MHz support typical multi-tasking workloads. The bundle includes a 16 GB USB flash drive for recovery or deployment tasks.

Hot-plug drive bays and single cabled supply

Four 3.5-inch hot-plug SATA drive bays hold the included 32 TB array of 7.2 K RPM drives managed by the integrated PERC S140 RAID controller. Hot-plug access lets you swap drives without shutting down the system. A single cabled power supply keeps internal cabling simple but offers no redundancy.
