The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server designed for virtualization, database hosting, file storage and backup tasks. It ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 8-core processors running at 2.1GHz with a 3.0GHz turbo frequency. The system includes 32GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory across four modules and a Dell PERC HBA330 storage controller. Four 1.92TB SATA solid-state drives are installed in the 16-bay 2.5-inch hot-swap chassis.

Tool-less drive access and rail kit required

The 16 front-accessible 2.5-inch bays support tool-less hot-swap installation for SAS, SATA and SSD media. The HBA330 controller provides 12Gb/s SAS/SATA connectivity without RAID functionality. Two hot-plug 750W platinum power supplies deliver redundant power.
