Tide65 65% Aluminum Build
The Epomaker Tide65 is a 65 percent layout mechanical keyboard built around a CNC machined 6063 aluminum case. It uses a hot swappable PCB compatible with QMK and VIA firmware for deep key remapping and macro creation. The board includes a programmable metal knob and per key south facing RGB lighting. Three connection modes cover Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless and USB C wired use.
Aluminum Case with Flex Cut FR4 Plate
A full 6063 aluminum chassis provides a rigid foundation that resists flex during heavy typing or gaming sessions. The flex cut FR4 plate sits between the switches and PCB, delivering a firmer feel than polycarbonate while retaining some cushion. Poron, IXPE and PET damping layers absorb ping and rattle for a deeper thocky sound signature. Double shot PBT keycaps with shine through legends complete the stack.
Hot Swappable Switches and Tri Mode Connectivity
The hot swappable sockets accept any three or five pin mechanical switch without soldering, letting owners tailor actuation force and sound on demand. A 2 in 1 puller is included for quick changes. Tri mode wireless covers Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz dongle and USB C cable for desktop, laptop or mobile setups. The compact 66 key layout omits a dedicated function row and numeric keypad, so users who rely heavily on those clusters will need a separate solution.
