This PCIe add-in card adds seven USB 3.2 ports to a desktop system through a single x1 slot. It is aimed at users who need more front-panel connections for external drives, peripherals or mobile devices.
10 Gbps per port, 20 Gbps shared
Each port can reach 10 Gbps when used alone, while the seven ports share a total 20 Gbps upstream bandwidth. The two USB-C ports deliver up to 30 W each for laptop or tablet charging, and the five USB-A ports supply up to 7.5 W each under BC 1.2. No external power connector is required.
Driver CD and mounting hardware included
A driver disc, installation screws and a printed manual ship in the box. The Renesas or VLI USB 3.0 driver must be installed before use on Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11 and on macOS 10.8.2 or later. The card draws power solely from the PCIe slot.
