The EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GA is a 650 W ATX12V unit built for high-performance desktop builds. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification and a fully modular cable set, so only the needed leads stay inside the case. A single +12 V rail feeds the CPU and up to three graphics cards through 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. Japanese capacitors and an LLC resonant layout support stable output across the 100-240 V input range.
A 135 mm double ball bearing fan spins only when load demands it, thanks to an ECO mode that stops the fan at low to medium power draw. The Gold-rated design reaches 90% efficiency or higher under typical loads, reducing waste heat and keeping case temperatures lower. Full modular cabling further improves airflow by removing unused wires from the airflow path. Input current ranges from 8 A at 100 V to 4 A at 240 V.
The single-rail topology delivers the full 650 W continuously to the +12 V line without rail-balancing limits. Over-voltage protection guards components during prolonged stress, while the DC-to-DC topology maintains tight regulation on the +3.3 V, +5 V and +12 V outputs. The compact 150 mm depth fits most mid-tower cases, allowing the fan to draw cool air even when the supply runs near its rated capacity for extended periods.
