80 mm AC axial fan for industrial chassis

This 80 mm by 38 mm axial fan runs directly from 115 V AC mains and draws 11 W from a shaded-pole motor. A full-metal impeller and die-cast aluminium frame painted black resist corrosion and survive ambient temperatures from minus 40 °C to plus 75 °C. Double ball bearings are rated for 80000 hours at 25 °C. The counter-clockwise rotation suits standard exhaust orientations in rack-mount and enclosure builds.

Fits 80 mm cut-outs without extra wiring

The fan mounts in any standard 80 mm square opening using four corner holes and connects to AC power through its two leads, removing the need for a DC supply or motherboard header. Its metal blades and frame free up space otherwise occupied by plastic guards or PWM cables, making it a direct replacement in medical, rail, HVAC and industrial cabinets. Insulation resistance exceeds 500 megohms and the unit withstands a 500 V hi-pot test for one minute.

Rated power tolerance of plus or minus 15 percent keeps output stable across supply fluctuations common in factory and vehicle environments. The shaded-pole motor delivers constant torque without electronic commutation, so airflow does not dip during long shifts or at the 75 °C upper limit.
