The GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 5090 AI BOX houses a GeForce RTX 5090 with 32GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28Gbps. It connects through a single Thunderbolt 5 cable to bring desktop-class graphics to compatible laptops and small-form-factor desktops. The GPU operates at a 2407 MHz clock and supports DLSS 4.5 for AI-accelerated rendering in games and creative workloads.

Build integration and I/O

The enclosure requires a host system with a Thunderbolt port and Windows 11 version 25H2 or later. It supplies an 850W power supply with a 16-pin PCIe connector for the card and adds three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs plus one HDMI 2.1 port for multi-view setups. Front and rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a second Thunderbolt 5 port for daisy-chaining peripherals, and a Gigabit Ethernet jack expand connectivity without occupying laptop ports.

Thermals, noise and power

A WATERFORCE all-in-one liquid cooling system manages the RTX 5090 inside the 189 x 302 x 172 mm chassis. The 850W PSU delivers greater than 90 percent efficiency from a 100-240V AC input, drawing up to 10A at the wall. Liquid cooling keeps the GPU near its 2407 MHz boost clock under sustained load while limiting fan noise compared with air-cooled external enclosures.
