Targeted 8th Gen Mini-ITX Board

The GIGABYTE B360N WIFI is a Mini-ITX motherboard built around the Intel B360 chipset for LGA 1151 socket processors. It supports 8th Generation Intel Core i7, i5, i3, Pentium and Celeron CPUs only. The board is explicitly not backward compatible with older LGA 1151 chips. Its 17.0cm square footprint fits compact chassis while providing dual Intel Gigabit LAN and integrated 802.11ac Wave2 Wi-Fi.

Memory Speed Depends on CPU Choice

DDR4 support reaches 2666 MHz, but only when an 8th Generation Core i7 or i5 processor is installed. With other supported CPUs the maximum drops to 2400 MHz or 2133 MHz. The board runs dual-channel non-ECC unbuffered memory. Builders who need the highest memory frequency must pair the board with a qualifying i7 or i5; otherwise the memory controller limits the speed automatically.

Integrated Connectivity and Protection

Onboard Intel CNVi Wi-Fi and dual Gigabit LAN remove the need for separate network cards in a small build. Anti-sulfur resistors, 25KV ESD and 15KV surge LAN protection aim to extend component life in harsh environments. RGB Fusion headers allow LED strip control in seven colours. Smart Fan 5 provides multiple temperature sensors and hybrid headers with a fan-stop feature. The UEFI DualBIOS adds a backup firmware layer.
