The dual-band radio combines 2x2 2.4 GHz and 4x4 5.0 GHz chains with 44:4 MU-MIMO and DL/UL OFDMA, raising simultaneous client capacity to 256 devices. Advanced QoS prioritises low-latency traffic while secure boot, unique certificates and random default passwords harden each unit against tampering.
Management Scale and Coverage Limits
The embedded controller manages up to 50 local GWN series APs; GWN.Cloud provides unlimited cloud management and GWN Manager adds an on-premise option. Coverage reaches 175 meters, and the AP auto-adapts to PoE or PoE+ power sources, so deployments without the supported power standard or beyond the device limit will require additional planning.
