The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 packs a single Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 eight-core processor at 2.6 GHz into a 1U chassis, delivering 16 logical threads for virtualization hosts, database nodes, or high-density compute clusters that need maximum cores per rack unit. It ships with 4 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory and two 1 TB 7.2K SAS drives, so the system is ready for immediate deployment in space-constrained environments.

Memory and storage expansion

Twenty-four DIMM slots support up to 3 TB of DDR4 when a second processor is added, freeing the single-CPU configuration for future capacity growth without replacing the chassis. Eight SFF drive bays connect to the Smart HBA H240ar controller, which provides 12 Gb SAS and 6 Gb SATA links with RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, allowing the two installed drives to be mirrored or expanded into larger arrays. Redundant 500 W hot-swap power supplies keep the platform running during a supply failure.
