The HP Z2 G4 is a new mid-tower workstation built around an Intel Core i7-9700 processor with eight cores and a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency. It ships with 64 GB of DDR4 2666 memory in a four-module configuration and a 4 TB PCIe NVMe solid-state drive. An Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory provides certified driver stability for professional 3D and compute workloads. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and digitally activated.

500 W 90 % efficient power supply

A 500 W power supply rated at 90 % efficiency delivers power to the CPU, GPU, memory and storage under typical workloads. The chassis uses standard workstation airflow paths to move heat away from the processor and graphics card without requiring exotic cooling. Integrated Intel I219-LM Gigabit Ethernet and Conexant 5.1 high-definition audio are powered from the same rail. Acoustic output remains at office-appropriate levels during normal operation.

The Nvidia Quadro RTX 4000 supplies 8 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit bus and offers three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs plus one USB-C connector for display connectivity.
