HPE DL360 Gen9 4LFF Server

The HPE DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack-mount server designed for data-centre workloads that demand high memory capacity in a compact footprint. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2640 v3 processor running at 2.6GHz and 384GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. A second processor socket is available for future expansion up to two CPUs. Integrated HPE iLO Advanced remote management allows full out-of-band control and monitoring.

384GB DDR4 ECC Registered Memory

The installed 384GB of DDR4 ECC registered RAM is the defining specification for memory-intensive applications such as virtualisation, in-memory databases or large-scale caching. The platform supports a maximum of 768GB across both processor sockets, leaving headroom for growth. Memory operates in quad-channel mode when both CPUs are populated. No other DDR generation is compatible with this system.

Four 3.5-Inch Drive Bays with P440 Controller

The 4LFF chassis provides four hot-plug 3.5-inch drive bays connected to an HPE Smart Array P440 SAS controller with RAID support. Drives are not included, so buyers must supply SATA or SAS disks to create boot and data volumes. Dual 500W Flex Slot power supplies deliver redundant power. Network connectivity includes two 10GbE and two 1GbE ports via Intel I350 and X540 adapters. A rail kit is available separately for rack installation.
