The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen11 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 6430 processors, each delivering 32 cores at a base frequency of 2.1 GHz and up to 3.4 GHz turbo. It ships with 512 GB of DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory across eight 64 GB modules and 7.68 TB of enterprise SAS SSD storage on four 1.92 TB drives. The bundle includes dual redundant power supplies, an iLO 6 remote management module, a rail kit and a Windows Server 2025 Standard licence for 16 cores. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation.

Suited for virtualised workloads

This configuration targets organisations that run heavily virtualised workloads, databases or container platforms and need high core counts, large memory capacity and fast SAS storage in a compact 2U form factor. The embedded OCP3 4-port 1GbE adapter and MR408i-o storage controller with 4 GB cache support typical enterprise networking and RAID requirements. Buyers who need GPU acceleration for AI training or workloads that require a different storage interface should evaluate other platforms.

512 GB DDR5-4800 ECC buffered memory limit

The system board supports a maximum of 512 GB of DDR5-4800 PC5-38400 ECC buffered memory, which is fully populated in this bundle. If your application demands more memory capacity or a different memory speed, this server cannot be expanded further and a different platform must be chosen.
