Small-business tower server

The HPE ProLiant ML30 Gen10 Plus is a new tower server built for small businesses and remote offices needing on-premise compute. It ships with a Xeon E-2314 four-core processor running at 2.8GHz with turbo up to 4.5GHz. The system includes 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz unbuffered memory across two 16GB modules. Windows Server 2022 Essentials media is supplied for environments with up to 25 users and 50 devices.

Memory and storage kit require installation

The 32GB DDR4 kit and 8TB SSD array comprising four 2TB SATA drives are included separately and must be installed by the buyer. A Smart Array VROC controller provides RAID capability for the installed drives. Remote management is handled through integrated iLO 5 Standard, while a DVD-ROM drive and four USB 3.0 ports handle local media and peripherals.

Four PCIe slots and dual 1Gb Ethernet

Expansion headroom comes from four PCIe slots and an M.2 slot for additional cards or storage. Dual embedded 1Gb Ethernet ports supply baseline network connectivity for file, print and application services. The single cabled power supply limits redundancy, so sites needing uninterrupted uptime should plan accordingly. Physical security features include a padlock eye, bezel lock and Kensington slot.
