The Intel NUC6i5SYH arrives with a dual-core i5-6260U processor, 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB SSD already installed. Windows 10 Pro is pre-loaded so the system boots straight to a familiar desktop. Integrated Iris Graphics 540 drives two displays through MiniDP and HDMI ports. A 65 W power adapter is included in the package.
Fits on a desk or behind a monitor
The compact chassis needs only the supplied 65 W adapter and a mains socket. Two SoDIMM slots accept DDR4 modules up to 32 GB total if more memory is required later. Front and rear USB 3.0 ports handle peripherals without a separate hub. Gigabit Ethernet, Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 cover wired and wireless networks. No internal drive bays exist, so storage expansion relies on external USB devices.
Bundled accessories reduce extra purchases
The 1 TB SSD and 8 GB DDR4 remove the need to buy memory or storage separately. Windows 10 Pro licence saves the cost and time of acquiring an operating system. A 3-in-1 card reader reads SD, SDHC and SDXC cards directly from the front panel. MiniDP and HDMI cables are not supplied, so buyers must provide their own display leads.
