The drive works with any device offering a USB port, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, Chrome, thin clients and embedded systems.

500GB capacity with real-time encryption

The drive provides 500GB of space for documents, backups and media while encrypting every write in real time using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware encryption. Sequential reads reach 160MB/s and writes 143MB/s over the USB 3.2 interface, so large transfers finish quickly. Performance scales down on older USB ports, and the single-drive design means capacity cannot be expanded without adding another unit.

IP56 ruggedness and keypad control

A zinc alloy enclosure rated IP56 resists dust and water jets, and the integrated keypad lets you unlock the drive before plugging it in. The 2.5-inch form factor measures 0.75 by 4.88 by 3.31 inches and weighs 0.48 lb, fitting easily in the supplied protective carry case.
