Dual GT-U7 GPS Development Kit

The KEHIPI 2pcs GT-U7 GPS Module Development Board supplies two ready-to-use boards for IoT edge prototyping. Each module runs on the original 7th generation chip with software compatible with NEO-6M output. Integrated USB ports provide direct serial communication with a host computer, removing the need for an external converter. An IPX antenna interface and active antenna are included for immediate signal acquisition.

Upgrade from Basic Receiver Modules

The jump is worth it when ordinary GPS receivers fail to lock in narrow urban corridors or dense jungle environments. GT-U7 modules deliver high sensitivity and low static drift, extending positioning coverage where standard units lose satellites. Installation is straightforward: connect the IPX antenna, plug the board into a USB port, and open a serial terminal at 9600 baud to read NMEA sentences. The USB interface doubles as power and data path, so no separate 3.6V-5V supply or level shifter is required for initial testing. Builders who need more than two simultaneous receivers or a different antenna form factor will need additional hardware.
