This 3705 cooling fan delivers high airflow with super-quiet operation for a wide range of Khadas single-board computers. It targets makers and developers who need active thermal management for Edge, VIM and Edge-V platforms. The included 10cm wire provides flexible placement inside compact enclosures or custom DIY cases. It is a purpose-built accessory for sustained workloads on supported boards.

Installation uses four M 1.4 screws supplied

Mounting is straightforward on compatible Edge heatsinks and New VIM heatsinks using the provided hardware. The 10cm lead allows routing without strain but limits reach in larger chassis. Builders using a DIY case must raise the top cover by 1 to 2mm with spacers to clear the fan housing. Boards such as VIM1 before v14, VIM2 v12 and earlier, and the Original VIM Heatsink are explicitly incompatible and will not mount.

Active cooling for sustained edge workloads

The fan moves enough air to keep supported boards stable during prolonged compute tasks such as inference or media processing. Its super-quiet profile suits desktop or lab environments where noise matters. Headroom is defined by the fixed 10cm cable and the specific heatsink mounting points; enclosures that cannot accommodate the spacer requirement or need longer wiring will hit a hard limit.
