Industrial RS232 to RS485 Converter

The LORDWORLD isolated rail-mount converter translates RS232 signals into balanced differential RS485 for industrial, agricultural and IoT networks. It supports stable transmission from 300 to 115200bps and integrates both power-supply and digital isolation on a single module. No external isolated supply is required, keeping cabinet wiring simple. The unit mounts on a standard DIN rail inside an ABS enclosure.

Installation checks before ordering

Verify that your host device provides a genuine RS232 port with the correct pin assignment for the converter’s DB9 or screw-terminal side. Confirm the available DC source falls within the 6V to 36V wide-range input and can deliver enough current for the isolated rail. Check whether the RS485 bus already uses a 120R termination resistor; the onboard switch lets you enable or disable the integrated resistor to match the bus topology. Ensure the cabinet has DIN rail space for the module’s footprint.

Engineers building long-distance sensor buses, PLC links or remote telemetry nodes will benefit from the onboard TVS surge suppression, resettable fuse and 600W lightningproof rating. The isolated design rejects ground loops common in factory and outdoor installations. Buyers who need USB, Ethernet or wireless interfaces, or who require protocol conversion beyond transparent RS232-to-RS485 translation, should look at a different class of gateway.
