Transmission Distance and Protection Limits

The converter supports a maximum transmission distance of 1.2km under suitable cabling conditions. Onboard TVS diodes suppress surge voltage and transient spikes, offering lightningproof and anti-electrostatic defence. A resettable fuse and protection diodes maintain stable current and voltage output during over-current or over-voltage events. These features protect the module and connected equipment from electrical damage.

Host Compatibility and Wiring Checks

Verify that your host system provides a standard USB port and supports the CH343G driver for proper enumeration. Confirm the RS485 bus wiring uses twisted-pair cable rated for the required distance and noise environment. Ensure the bus termination and biasing resistors match your network topology.
