Ready-to-build AM5 platform

This bundle pairs an MSI B850 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard with a single 16GB Teamgroup DDR5 6000 module. The board uses the AMD B850 chipset and an AM5 socket that supports Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series desktop processors. Four 288-pin DDR5 slots allow up to 256GB total capacity. The included stick runs at CL38 latency and leaves three slots open for future expansion.

Sustained throughput with EXPO

The memory operates at 6000MHz with PC5-48000 bandwidth when AMD EXPO is enabled in the BIOS. Dual-channel architecture doubles effective throughput once a second identical module is added. The CPU-linked PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and two CPU-sourced M.2 sockets (one PCIe 5.0 x4, one PCIe 4.0 x4) keep graphics and storage bandwidth high during extended workloads. Chipset lanes provide additional PCIe 4.0 x2 and PCIe 3.0 x1 connectivity for extra cards.

Stable power delivery for long sessions

The B850 chipset and AM5 socket design distribute current across the VRM without active chipset cooling. Four SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and multiple M.2 slots draw power from the same phases, so sustained storage traffic does not create local hotspots. Passive heatsinks on the VRM and primary M.2 slot absorb heat during prolonged compile, render or gaming sessions, keeping fan curves low and system noise minimal.
