The MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 is an 850 W ATX 12V unit certified to ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. It delivers stable power for high-performance graphics cards without adapters. 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and 100% Japanese 105° C capacitors keep energy loss low. A fully modular design lets builders connect only the cables they need.
Build integration
Flat cables reduce clutter and improve airflow inside the case. The unit provides a native 12V-2x6 connector plus two 6+2-pin PCIe plugs and sixteen SATA power connectors. Active PFC and a DC-DC module design supply clean voltage across two +12 V rails. Industrial-grade protections cover OCP, OVP, OPP, OTP, SCP and UVP. Input range spans 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz.
Sustained-load behaviour
A single 135 mm fan meets Cybenetics Standard++ noise certification for quiet operation under load. Gold-rated efficiency stays above 85% across typical loads, limiting waste heat during long sessions. Japanese capacitors rated for 105° C maintain ripple suppression when the system runs continuously. Protection circuits guard against over-current and over-temperature events during extended gaming or rendering.
