Dual PSU adapter for high-power builds

The myVolts Dual PSU Adapter lets you connect two power supplies to one motherboard using a 24-pin main connector and two 24-pin secondary connectors. It supports a combined load of up to 2000W so that power-hungry graphics cards receive stable current without a single larger unit. The 20+4 pin design works with both 20-pin and 24-pin motherboards. It is not for builders who only need a single PSU or who require more than three units.

Stable delivery under continuous load

The adapter uses a thin-cable design rated for sustained transmission at the full 2000W range, keeping voltage steady during long gaming or rendering sessions. Both secondary units start and stop in sync with the main supply, preventing rail imbalance that can cause GPU frequency drops. The ABS and metal connectors resist heat buildup over extended use. It does not suit systems where the secondary PSU must be switched independently.

Practical limits of the AT interface

The 85cm cable length restricts placement of the secondary PSU to positions within roughly 33.5 inches of the motherboard. Only AT-type power supplies within the 2000W combined ceiling are supported, and the adapter adds no extra PCIe or EPS connectors beyond the 24-pin pathways. It cannot convert a non-redundant PSU into a redundant configuration. It is not for setups that need longer runs or additional connector types.
