This 256GB kit contains two 128GB DDR5 registered DIMMs built for the Supermicro X14SBI-F platform. Error-correcting code and registered signalling protect data integrity in server and workstation workloads. The modules run at 6400MHz with a CL52 latency at 1.1V. IT professionals handling mission-critical environments are the target audience.

Fits Supermicro X14SBI-F DIMM Slots

The 288-pin RDIMMs install directly into the board’s DDR5 slots without adapters or cables. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, freeing headroom for high-density population. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow in the chassis must be sufficient for the bare modules. Builders needing unbuffered or non-ECC memory cannot use this kit.

Replaces Lower-Capacity DDR5 RDIMMs

Swapping smaller registered modules for this 2x128GB kit doubles or quadruples usable memory per channel, which benefits virtualisation, large datasets and AI inference workloads. The upgrade is worth it when the application hits capacity limits on the existing configuration. Systems requiring higher frequencies or lower latencies than 6400MHz CL52 will not gain from this change.
