The Noctua NH-C14S is a premium top-flow CPU cooler built around a 140mm NF-A14 PWM fan. Its 142mm maximum height fits many cases where tower coolers cannot. The design directs airflow over RAM modules and motherboard components near the socket. It supports Intel LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x and AMD AM5, AM4 platforms.

Flexible mounting avoids clearance issues

Installation uses the SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting kit and includes NT-H1 thermal compound. The fan can sit on top of the fin stack for RAM clearance up to 70mm, or underneath to lower total height to 115mm. This offset layout also clears the top PCIe slot on most motherboards. A Low-Noise Adaptor and extra fan clips are provided for a second fan.

Steady cooling with low acoustic output

Under sustained load the NF-A14 runs at 1500 RPM standard, moving 82.52 CFM at 24.6 dBA. With the Low-Noise Adaptor fitted, speed drops to 1200 RPM for 67.98 CFM at 19.2 dBA. PWM control allows speeds as low as 300 RPM when thermal demand is light. The copper heatsink and deep fin stack maintain consistent temperatures during extended workloads.
