The Noctua NH-D9 DX-4677 is a compact dual-tower air cooler built for Intel Xeon processors using the LGA4677 socket. It fits 4U server chassis with a height of 134mm and uses six heatpipes to handle high thermal loads. Two NF-A9 92mm fans run in push-pull for strong airflow at low noise. It targets quiet 4U server deployments needing reliable CPU cooling.

Verify CPU carrier frame and socket

This cooler mounts only on the LGA4677 socket for 4th generation Xeon Scalable and w-series CPUs. A CPU carrier frame is required for installation and is included with boxed retail processors. Buyers using tray CPUs must source the frame separately before ordering. Check that your chassis provides 134mm of vertical clearance above the socket. No mounting hardware for other sockets is supplied.

Pre-applied paste and Torx tool included

NT-H1 thermal compound comes pre-applied on the cold plate so no separate paste is needed. A Torx T30 mounting tool is bundled to simplify the securing process. The dual NF-A9 fans support PWM control for automatic speed regulation via the motherboard. No additional fan adapters, cables or software utilities are provided in the package.
