80 mm square CPU fan

The OEM Industries DS08025R12U-011 is an 80 mm square cooler that uses a 12 V 0.7 A three-pin fan with Hydro Wave bearing. It is aimed at builders servicing compact or legacy systems that need a direct-replacement fan unit. The black frame and lack of LEDs keep the appearance neutral. No heatsink or mounting hardware is included in the package.

Check motherboard header and case clearance

Verify that your motherboard provides a standard three-pin fan header supplying 12 V power. Measure the available mounting area to confirm an 80 mm square footprint with 25 mm thickness will fit without fouling memory modules or side-panel vents. The fan draws 0.7 A so the header must support that current. No PWM control is present on the three-wire connection.

Replaces worn 80 mm three-pin coolers

This unit replaces an aging or noisy 80 mm three-pin cooler of the same 8025 form factor. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original fan has developed bearing noise, reduced airflow or has failed completely.
