PCIe 1-to-4 USB 3.0 Riser

This PCIe expansion card splits a single x1 slot into four USB 3.0 ports for connecting multiple riser cables. It targets miners and builders who need to attach several GPUs or accessories to one motherboard slot. The card draws power directly from the PCIe slot without extra cables. Supported operating systems include DOS, Linux, Windows XP through 10 and Server 2003-2008.

Build integration and slot compatibility

The board plugs straight into any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and mounts to the case bracket at 120 mm length. No external power connector is required, freeing PSU cables and reducing clutter inside the chassis. A single cable runs to the motherboard, keeping cable management simple. An on-board IC heatsink helps dissipate heat during sustained loads.

Port capacity and bandwidth limits

Four USB 3.0 ports provide connection points for up to four risers or devices simultaneously. The x1 PCI Express 2.0 link caps total throughput, so heavy simultaneous transfers will saturate the bus. It works for typical mining or multi-device setups but cannot deliver full x4 or x16 bandwidth to each port. Driver installation is not needed on supported systems.
