Targeted GPU Water Block

The Phanteks Glacier G4090 GIGABYTE Water Block Bundle is a full-coverage block built for GIGABYTE AORUS MASTER and GAMING RTX 4090 graphics cards. It uses a 10mm copper base and expanded fin area to transfer heat directly from the entire PCB. Digital-RGB lighting synchronises with Phanteks D-RGB products and compatible motherboard addressable RGB systems. Builders adding custom liquid cooling to these specific cards are the intended users.

Installation Requirements

Mounting replaces the stock cooler so the card must be removed from the system and disassembled carefully. Thermal pads and paste must be applied to every contact point on the PCB before the aluminium cover plate is secured. Viton rubber washers are included to retain seal force and help prevent leaks once the loop is filled. First-time installers should plan extra time for pad placement and leak testing.

Loop Compatibility Limits

The block adds 26 mm of height to the card profile so clearance inside the case must accommodate the thicker assembly. Flow restriction is reduced by the larger fin surface but the loop still needs a pump capable of moving fluid through a full-cover GPU block alongside other components. Digital-RGB control requires a 5 V addressable header or a Phanteks D-RGB controller; standard 12 V RGB headers will not work. Buyers without addressable RGB hardware cannot use the lighting feature.
