Replacement Power Supply for HP Media Center

This 420W ATX unit replaces the original power module in HP Media Center desktops such as the m7557c, m7560n, m7560y, CTO, m7567c, m7570kr and m7570n. It delivers 420W of power through a standard ATX form factor and a single 80mm cooling fan. The supply is intended for owners of those specific HP systems who need a direct replacement for a failed or ageing unit.

Connector Limits and Voltage Selection

The unit provides one 15-inch SATA connector, one 14-inch ATX connector supporting both 20-pin and 24-pin configurations, one 14-inch 12V ATX connector, two 15-inch large power connectors, two 6-inch large power connectors and one 6-inch small power connector. Input voltage is selectable between 110V and 220V via a physical switch. No additional connectors or higher-wattage outputs are included, so systems requiring more power or different interfaces will not be supported.

Straightforward Swap with Cable Reach Checks

Installation consists of removing the old supply, mounting this grey ATX unit in its place and connecting the supplied cables to the motherboard and drives. The fixed cable lengths — 15-inch for SATA and large power, 14-inch for ATX and 12V, 6-inch for the remaining large and small power leads — may not reach all drive bays in larger chassis. The voltage selector must be set to match the local mains supply before powering on.
