This drive suits read-heavy applications such as content delivery, web hosting and virtualised storage tiers where the 2100 MBps sequential read speed and 165000 random read IOPS matter. The 1100 MBps write speed and 20000 random write IOPS make it a poor fit for write-intensive logging, database redo logs or high-frequency checkpointing that would exceed the 1 DWPD rating. Buyers needing higher write endurance should look at drives with a higher DWPD figure.
